02 / THE CONSTRAINT — SECURITIES & PROVENANCE
A TOKEN ISA SECURITY.
The moment a property interest is represented on a ledger, the system stops being a property system and becomes a securities system. Transfer restrictions, investor eligibility, jurisdictional limits and disclosure obligations all become code paths.
Provenance is the other half. A token is only as good as the documented chain connecting it to a real asset, and that chain has to survive scrutiny years later by someone who was not there.
We build the compliance surface into the contract rather than layering it over the application, because an interface can be bypassed and a contract cannot.
03 / What it means in code
FOUR DECISIONS.
TRANSFER RESTRICTION
Eligibility enforced at the contract level, not in the interface.
INVESTOR REGISTRY
Whitelisting and jurisdiction checks recorded on-chain.
PROVENANCE
Off-chain documentation anchored to on-chain records with verifiable hashes.
DISCLOSURE
Reporting obligations designed as a data product rather than a manual exercise.

Blockchain Engineering · Platform & SaaS · Security Engineering
Most engagements in this sector draw on more than one discipline. The combination is decided by the constraint above rather than by a service menu.
