02 / HOW WE PRICE
A FIXED PRICE ISA PRICED GUESS.
A fixed-scope contract prices the risk of the unknown and adds it to your invoice. Where the requirements are genuinely settled that is fair and we will quote it. Where they are not, it makes changing your mind expensive at exactly the moment you learn something.
So we would rather establish the shape of the problem than quote against a specification we have not tested. A short paid discovery produces an architecture, a delivery plan and an honest estimate range you can take to a board.
Whichever model you choose, the code is yours from the first commit and the notice period is two weeks in both directions.

Dedicated team
Best for — MULTI-MONTH BUILDS
A cross-functional team working only on your product, billed monthly. The default for substantial builds because requirements move and this absorbs that without renegotiation.
Fixed scope
Best for — WELL-DEFINED DELIVERABLES
A defined deliverable at a defined price. Appropriate where the specification is genuinely settled and unlikely to move.
Embedded engineers
Best for — EXISTING ENGINEERING TEAMS
Our engineers working inside your team, your process and your tracker, adding a capability you do not hold.
Retainer & support
Best for — LIVE SYSTEMS
Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and incremental change on a system already in production.
Staff augmentation
Best for — SHORT-TERM CAPACITY GAPS
Individual engineers supplied against a named skill for a defined period, managed by you.

- Two weeks, either side, on every model.
- MINIMUM DURATION
- None. We would rather you stay because it is working.
- CODE OWNERSHIP
- Client-owned from the first commit, in the client’s own repositories.
- INFRASTRUCTURE
- Provisioned as code in the client’s own cloud account. We do not host client systems.
- DISCOVERY
- Paid, short, and produces an architecture, a delivery plan and an estimate range regardless of whether you continue.
- BILLING
